RehabCare physical therapy is a branch of rehabilitative health that uses specifically designed exercises, manipulation and equipment to help imrove residents' physical abilities, including balance, strength, and general mobility that safely increase the residents' functional independence.

Short-Term Rehabilitation
This is an alternative for those well enough to leave an acute care hospital, but not yet well enough to return home. Ultimately, our goal is to assist patients in improving their quality of life and regaining an active, independent lifestyle.
Physical Therapy
Physical therapy helps meet the needs of residents who have a loss of function due to an illness or injury. Residents are helped to regain functional abilities such as walking, improving strength, balance and endurance, and recovering from injuries. Physical therapy offers:

Speech Therapy
Speech therapy treats patients with speech, language, swallowing and hearing impairments. The resident's ability to communicate and swallow are two functional skills improved through therapy. Treatments include:

Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy helps resident's return to their optimal level of independence in ADL's (self-feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting and homemaking). Occupational therapy may include:
- Splint Fabrication / Modification
- Safety Training
- Activities of Daily Living
- Upper Extremity Strengthening / Coordination
- Assistive Device Assessment / Training
